About Me

A little bit about me:

My background is in the NHS, I worked as a Midwife for 12 years and a Contraceptive and Sexual Health Nurse for 4 years at the same time (I like to be busy!), then trained as a Hypnobirthing instructor after my children were born with KG Hypnobirthing, putting to good use my years of experience as a Midwife which led me to train in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy!

I have also spent a period of time volunteering for Families and Babies as a Breast Feeding Peer support and set up and ran the Ormskirk BF group, overlapping my Hypnobirthing and training to become a Hypnotherapist. I loved this role as I enjoy talking to and helping women to achieve their goals.

I trained with Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT), the Gold Standard in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, gaining my Level 4 Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy with CPHT Liverpool.

I am currently working towards the Advanced Hypnotherapy Diploma (AHD) having completed additional study days in Fertility, Childbirth and SFH, PTSD, Pain, Grief, LGBTQ+, Needle phobia and Psychoneuroimmunology to name a few, and completed an additional Diploma in Medical Hypnotherapy.

I have more recently completed my Level 5 qualification as a Solution Focused Supervisor in Hypnotherapy and now enjoy supporting and supervising fellow SF Hypnotherapists.

I am fully insured, extended DBS checked, fully up to date with my First Aid and registered with the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists (AfSFH), the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
