Solution Focused Supervision for Hypnotherapists
I trained as a Solution-Focused Hypnotherapist with CPHT in 2019 and have run my full-time clinic covering West Lancashire and Merseyside ever since. My background is in Women’s health; I was a Midwife in the NHS for 12 years and a Contraceptive and Sexual Health nurse for 4 of those years. I then went on to train and run a Hypnobirthing business before training as a Hypnotherapist. I am also a Senior Lecturer for CPHT Solution Focused Hypnotherapy Training in Liverpool and Chester.
I trained as a Solution-Focused Supervisor in 2023. I teach my CPDs on Working with Women and Perinatal Mental Health, Pregnancy Loss, and Birth Trauma for CPHT Biannually (you can book these here). I am a member of the CNHC, NCH, and AfSFH associations.
In my approach to supervision, I utilise a Solution-Focused method that emphasises a respectful, non-authoritative, and cooperative perspective, focusing on the strengths, resources, learning, and experience of both group and individual practitioners.
I offer two approaches to Supervision. Supervisees can either pay via standing order monthly or book via my online booking system on a PAYG ad-hoc set-up.
I also run group supervision monthly, on alternate Saturdays and Fridays. The dates for future groups are listed below. You can join and book as PAYG by clicking on the links.
